Review of TII Palaeo-environmental Guidelines
Well done to our colleague Ellen OCarroll who has published a paper on the update and review of the Transport Infrastructural Ireland (TII) guidelines in the Journal of archaeological Science.
IAC were appointed by TII to review and update the Palaeo-environmental guidelines used on all TII projects. The review considered best international practice and engaged with key stakeholders to obtain feedback on the implementation and use of the existing guidelines (including stakeholder workshops and questionnaires). The main outcomes of the review are detailed and discussed in Ellen’s paper, as well as the changes and updates for future guidance. Workshops will be delivered by IAC to ensure any new procedures and implementation processes are understood and effectively executed by practitioners and consultancies.
