Appointment: Peatland Climate Action Scheme

We are delighted to have been appointed by the National Monuments Service to act as Archaeological Consultant on the Bord na Mona Peatland Climate Action Scheme. This project will see the enhanced decommissioning, rehabilitation and restoration measures, targeting c. 33,000 hectares in over 80 bogs. As Irelands leading commercial wetland archaeology practitioners, our team have garnered 30 years’ experience working on Irish Bogs. This unique experience, coupled with our comprehensive methodologies and proven quality management systems, was instrumental in our appointment on this quality-based competition. We are enjoying working on this important project which has numerous climate action benefits, from greenhouse gas mitigation through reduced carbon emissions, carbon storage and accelerated carbon sequestration.
